GEM Project Timeline

Program Schedule:

GEM projects will be funded semi-annually, with anticipated start dates of January 1 or July 1. Investigators should select the timeline that best ensures they can develop and submit an external grant proposal (GP) within three months of project completion. See Table 1 for a schedule on GEM submissions, awards, and outcome delivery. Applicants will submit proposals to the Dean or Associate Dean as directed by their college. After internal review, colleges should submit one hard copy and an electronic copy (as a single pdf file) of the fully signed proposal to the Vice President for Research Office, UMC 1450 (Old Main room 159).
