Support Undergraduate Research

Research matters at Utah State University. Through the discoveries, technologies, and inventions of our faculty, we are solving important practical problems, boosting the state’s high-tech economy, and supporting our students.

One of the most powerful learning experiences for students is working side-by-side with a faculty mentor on a research project. At Utah State, research, teaching, and learning are inextricably linked. Through research, students apply the knowledge and skills they acquire in the classroom, in the lab, field, studio, and archives. Utah State is recognized across the nation for its emphasis on student-centered, hands-on learning with faculty who care. We seek to enhance and increase the opportunities for students to engage in research. You can help us provide cutting-edge research opportunities for undergraduates. These opportunities prepare our students to be leaders in their graduate or professional training and in the workforce. Through your contributions, USU can support more research activity, which makes a difference in the daily lives of students, faculty, and citizens across the state and around the world.

We hope that you will contribute to undergraduate research, and help us improve and continue research at USU.
