Yi He is a Ph.D. candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Utah State University. She obtained her master’s degree in transportation engineering from Utah State University in 2016. Her research mainly focuses on transportation planning, transportation network modeling, travel behavior modeling, and strategic and operational planning involving electric and/or autonomous vehicles.
She has been working on research projects funded by Utah Department of Transportation, Mountain-Plains Consortium, and United States Department of Energy. She was the recipient of the best student paper award of Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) in both Utah chapter and Intermountain chapter and the scholarship awarded by WTS (Women’s Transportation Seminar) Northern Utah.
