Dr. Mateja R. Savoie-Roskos, the Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Student Services for the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences at Utah State University, will present on her research related to interventions that aim to reduce food insecurity and improve fruit and vegetable intake among low income individuals in Utah.

Brennan Bean, an Assistant Professor in the Mathematics and Statistics Department, and Wei Zhang, an Assistant Professor in the Plants, Soils, and Climate Department, will present about their combined research on how a changing climate will impact future snowpack and the way that could influence building construction.

Research on Capitol Hill
Exhibition
Research on Capitol Hill (ROCH) is an annual celebration of undergraduate research and creative pursuits. Students have the opportunity to show policy-makers how innovative and impactful their research is and how important the state’s support is to continue conducting such exciting work. From projects on drought-tolerant plants to performance anxiety, self-charging car batteries to social media trends, our students will have meaningful conversations with potential for significant impact on the state. If you are interested in presenting at a future ROCH event, check back when the application cycle opens in October 2024.
