Ani Heller is the Coordinator of the USU Institutional Review Board. As a coordinator, Ani assists the facilitation of IRB operations. In addition, she provides responses to questions and concerns from researchers and reviews IRB protocols in order to ensure that each study is designed according to both legal and ethical standards.
Ani received her degree in political science with a concentration in international relations from University of California Los Angeles in 2013. In 2017, she received her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law. During law school, Ani developed a passion for international human rights, interning at such organizations as Free Tibet, JUSTICE, and Human Rights Watch in Los Angeles and London, U.K. In 2018, Ani was awarded her L.L.M degree in international human rights law from City University, London UK. Ani is very passionate about women’s rights and remains actively involved in researching issues that affect women both domestically and abroad.
