Knowledge to improve Utah’s Waterscape
Good policies require good data; at this collaborative event research experts met face-to-face with Utah’s government and business leaders to share ideas and discuss proven best practices to preserve Utah’s water quality and meet the state’s growing water needs in the coming decades.
On June 18, 2019, Dr. Michelle Baker presented her research findings at the O.C. Tanner headquarters in Salt Lake City. A few questions answered at this event included:
- What are the most cost-effective policies to preserve water?
- How can we prevent dangerous algal blooms?
- What chemicals are most commonly found in Utah’s rivers and streams?
