How art unlocks students’ diverse abilities
A former Hallmark Card Artist and Art Center grad, Michael will show the power of art to inspire, express, enlighten, and enrich our lives. He spends the majority of his time teaching and inspiring high school students, many with disabilities.
Michael Bingham has spent 30 years as a professional artist, designer, sculptor, painter, illustrator and creativity consultant. He currently serves as the state representative for Utah high school art teachers in the Utah Art Education Association.
Michael believes art has the power to enrich lives. Now in his eighth year as a teaching artist at Mountain Crest High School, in Hyrum, Utah, he has a special interest in making art a more accessible form of expression and communication for people who live with mental and physical challenges.
