Art History Literature Review: EXAMPLE

 Research Description

EXAMPLE*: Medieval visual and literary representations of human bodies both shaped and were shaped by notions of  sexuality, morality, and biology rooted in the Christian tradition. This project works with faculty from the Center for Intersectional Gender Studies and the Religious Studies program to examine the literature of gender in the western (European) Middle Ages across numerous disciplines, with the goal of writing a “state of the question” literature review useful for scholars interested in the history of gender representations.

*This project was purely created for this example and is not actually being done
