Ray L. and Eloise Hoopes Lillywhite University Scholarship

Award Amount: $2,000
The Ray L. and Eloise Hoopes Lillywhite University Scholarship is for undergraduate students who demonstrate merit and need. Typically, they should be upper-division full-time students. Lillywhite Scholars should be enrolled for both Fall and Spring terms.
Requirements:

  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • Must be taking at least 12 credit hours per semester
  • Must be an undergraduate student, preference given to juniors and seniors
  • Must be a US citizen.

Award Details: Student should be enrolled for both the Fall and Spring semesters. This award will be split between semesters ($1,000 each)

Space Dynamics Lab (SDL) Student Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000
The scholarship will be awarded to two underrepresented students (i.e., women, minorities, veterans, individuals with disabilities) who are studying engineering or computer science, with an emphasis on women in engineering. All recipients must demonstrate strong academic achievement, excellence in the quality of their work assignments and performance, and have a financial need. The scholarship is a one year scholarship.

SDL will host an awards luncheon and tour for the recipients at the beginning of fall semester with the intent to build a relationship that could lead to a potential internship and/or student employment at SDL.

Requirements:

  • Fill-time student with a major or minor in one of the following departments: Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
  • Rising Undergraduate Freshman or Sophomore who is ready to go into the professional program
  • Academic GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Financial need
  • US Citizen (required for potential internship and/or student employment at SDL)

Award Details: Up to two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded in June for the following academic year.
