UR Mentor Email
Faculty members who are interested in mentoring undergraduate researchers can sign up for the email newsletter below. This form is available to any faculty or staff who would like to receive emails about events, deadlines, opportunities, etc.
The Undergraduate Research & Creative Opportunities grant has three application cycles. Each cycle, we ask faculty and senior graduate students to volunteer as reviewers for 3-5 applications in adjacent disciplines. Learn more about the Creative Opportunities grant.
The Student Research Symposium, held each April, is the showcase event for about 400 undergraduate and graduate students. We ask faculty to judge and provide feedback, and encourage graduate students to review undergraduate work.
Mentor a Student
If you have a project and are looking for an undergraduate research assistant or volunteer, let us help you find someone to help.
Work Study Researchers
If you have the capacity to hire an undergrad, consider posting your job as a Federal Work Study position. You save funds and increase access to research.
UR Inclusion Efforts
We are working to increase access to research for all undergrads. We will be convening committees under our advisory board and would love more input.
