<bio>Jake has spent more than 15 years in the energy industry helping utilities connect with customers around energy savings, electrification, decarbonization, resilience, and affordability. He’s passionate about all things energy and enjoys tackling complex challenges, building systems, and understanding what drives people and organizations to take action.

Jake’s current focus is helping utilities turn grid-interactive efficient buildings (GEBs) into dispatchable, dependable distributed energy resources (DERs) that defer infrastructure spend and support reliability and energy affordability, while making participation easy for the building owners and operators on the other end.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find him spending time outside with his wife and two boys, whether that’s in the garden, fishing a mountain stream, or exploring the desert.</bio>
