<bio>Lindsey Mayer is the Director of Permitting and Energy Partnerships at the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED). Previously, at the Utah Office of Energy Development (OED), she focused on transmission development and led the multi-state effort that brought 12 governors together to sign a joint agreement strengthening interregional transmission planning and establishing the Permitting Alignment and Coordination Task Force (PACT).</p>

<p>Earlier in her career, Lindsey was an urban planner for New York City, working on affordable housing, small business initiatives, and infrastructure planning. Her work across neighborhood plans shaped her view that infrastructure planning succeeds or fails based on coordination. She holds a Master in Urban Planning from Harvard University, where a transmission permitting practicum turned that interest toward the grid.</bio>
