Powell has experience working in rural counties and communities throughout southeastern Utah in regards to strategic planning, community outreach &amp; education and fundraising for private and public investments. Powell volunteers his time in the following ways; secretary / treasurer for the Southeastern Entrepreneurial Network (SEEN); Carbon County Planning and Zoning Commissioner; previous Price City Planning &amp; Zoning Commissioner; previous Price Kiwanis Club board member and president.</p> <p>Powell was born and raised in rural southeastern Utah and continues to find innovative ways to make his home even better than it is. Powell is a fifth generation to the area and takes pride in his family’s history of settling Price, Utah. Powell’s education includes receiving an undergraduate degree from Utah State University.</p> <p>Powell enjoys camping, hiking and riding ATVs throughout southeastern Utah with his wife (Danyan), sons (Jasper and Dawson), and their pups (Zoya and Kaz).
