Mohammad Shekaramiz was born in Tehran, Iran in 1980. He received his B. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2004 from Yazd University, Yazd, Iran, and his M. Sc. in Controls in 2007 from Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran. He was a lecturer at Azad University of Shahre Rey from 2009 to 2012. He earned his Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering-Statistical Signal Processing in 2018. He has proposed several Bayesian algorithms for solving the inverse problem of compressive sensing. He has also developed a framework for the trajectory determination of multiple mobile sensors for the exploration purposes. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Information Dynamics Lab., in Utah State University. He is a member of IEEE, Golden Key Society, PhiKappa Phi, and Tau Beta Pi. He has served as reviewer in several journals and international conferences including Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, ICASSP, IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, Signal Processing Journal, and Journal of Entropy. He is on the editorial board of Journal of Autonomous Intelligence and Journal of Progress in Human Computer Interaction. His interests include machine learning, compressive sensing, statistical signal processing, and control systems. He loves playing racket ball, table tennis, solving Sudoku, and pottery.
