Prasanna Humagain is being nominated for the “Doctoral Researcher of the Year” award because of his: (a) impressive publication record (6 peer-reviewed articles in 2021); (b) timely dissertation, advancing theory and knowledge about COVID’s impacts on tourists’ decision-making for outdoor recreational travel; and (c) impact on critical issues in Utah, including transportation connections with air quality and recreation tourism.
