Undergraduate Researcher of the Year

At USU, Santana studies graph and network theory, and has participated in two National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates at Michigan State and Emory University, respectively. As a Science Council member, he led a workshop to help fellow undergrads apply for similar experiences and organized a fun, well-attended “rapid fire” research presentation event to encourage others to share their experiences.
