Faculty Researcher of the Year 

Brian Crookston is an Assistant Professor at Utah State University, where he joined faculty in 2018. His research and teaching activities are focused on water sustainability and resiliency in the areas of: hydraulic structures, fluvial hydraulics, and modeling and technology. Brian has particular interest in spillways, flooding, physical and numerical modeling, machine learning algorithms, flow acoustics, scour and erosion, surface hydrology, and public safety and security at hydraulic structures.
