Dr. Grazia Xiong is an Assistant Professor of Accounting. She earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of South Carolina in 2022, specializing in managerial accounting and behavioral accounting research. With a strong commitment to research and teaching, Dr. Xiong has already made significant contributions to the field. Her research has been published in reputable and elite journals, including the Journal of Management Accounting Research and soon-to-be forthcoming article in Accounting, Organizations and Society. Notably, she received the American Accounting Association (AAA) Best 2023 Management Accounting Section Dissertation Award. In the classroom, Dr. Xiong has demonstrated excellence as a caring and passionate teacher, earning multiple teaching awards and high student evaluations. Her dedication to education is evident through her impact on her students who call her the GOAT. Beyond her academic achievements, Dr. Xiong actively engages in professional service as a reviewer or discussant for many esteemed journals and major AAA conferences. She has earned multiple best reviewer awards. Dr. Xiong brings a unique perspective to the realm of accounting and academia through her rich background of international experiences leading to a passion for research and education.
