Extension

Dave Francis has worked for Utah State University Extension with the 4-H Program since 2001. His primary responsibility is assisting county based Extension  faculty, staff and volunteers develop and support 4-H Science, Technology , Engineering and Math Programs (STEM).

As the Utah 4-H Military Liaison,  he works with military staff  and Extension faculty to support 4-H programs for military youth at military installations and geographically dispersed youth with ties to the National Guard and Reserves.

He is the Utah Junior Master Gardener State Coordinator,  as well as works with the USU Extension Partnership at Thanksgiving Point, a farm garden, and museum complex 20 miles south of Salt Lake City.
