Psychology

Christian Geiser is a quantitative psychologist with research and teaching interests in longitudinal data analysis, general structural equation modeling, and psychometrics. He received his Diplom in Psychology from the University of Magdeburg in Germany in 2003 and his PhD in Psychology from Free University Berlin in Germany in 2008.

His current specific research interests concern situational and interactional influences on psychological measurement as well as methods for studying statistical mediation in measurement designs with multiple informants or methods. Another area of his research has been concerned with sex differences in spatial abilities and factors that may influence these differences.
