USU's 2021 Research Awardees
This Award honors faculty that have exceptional research careers and have produced a significant portion of their work while at Utah State University.
The winner of this award is selected from a pool of College Researchers of the Year that are chosen annually by each of the eight academic colleges.
Inaugurated to recognize outstanding faculty who mentor undergraduate researchers, these awardees are characterized as counselors and guides who encourage, instruct, and advocate.
Each USU college selects graduate researchers, who are then considered for this award at the annual Robins Awards held in the spring.
These Master's student researchers are selected by their respective colleges, then considered for this award at the annual Robins Awards held in the spring.
In addition to being an excellent student, a notable undergraduate researcher is one who has consistently engaged in independent inquiry, through classes, student employment, and independent research projects.
