With a liberal arts background, Elizabeth is always looking for ways to blend the scientific and humanistic aspects of archaeology. In an award-winning paper, Elizabeth writes about the purpose of the mysterious pottery of the Kodiak Archipelago in Alaska through experimental reconstruction and mathematical modeling. She also assists other research projects with her advisor Dr. Anna Cohen, including work on Mesoamerican ceramics and a remote sensing study in northeastern Honduras.
