Megan Israelsen

Megan Israelsen is a Master’s student at Utah State University in the field of Speech-Language Pathology. Her research interests are in the language development of school-age children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Specific Language Impairment. She has been recognized for her work as a student by the College of Education at Utah State University by being named Scholar of the Year (2016). She is a published researcher (Autism Open Access Journal), has presented her work at a National Conference (ASHA, 2017) and been awarded scholarships for her research. Megan plans to pursue a Doctorate degree focused on developing evidence-based intervention programs that will be easily used within the school system to help children in need. Megan loves music and spends her free time singing as she hikes the many trails surrounding Logan.
