Morgan Wood is a true Aggie. She was drawn to Utah State University as a legacy student for the exemplar research and educational opportunities after receiving her Bachelor of Science from Eastern Kentucky University where she studied Statistics. Currently pursuing her master’s in Management Information Systems, she is actively involved both within and outside of the classroom. Ms. Wood serves as the Business Intelligence Group Co-President which she identifies, participates in, and manages Data Science projects to provide real world experience and networking opportunities for students. As a board member of the USU Association for Information Systems student chapter,she is responsible for the Corporate Speaker Series that is open to the university. Ms. Wood conducts novel research with Dr. Yong Seog Kim, which was accepted at a leading IS conference the past summer. In addition to her work here at USU, she also interns with Zions Bancorporation in Model Risk Management.Ms. Wood is thrilled to be an Aggie, and even more excited to continue her education in the Instructional Technology and Information Systems Ph.D. program starting in the fall. When not on campus, Morgan can be found in the mountains with a kayak or hiking boots.
