Dr. David Law, Associate Professor of Family, Consumer, and Human Development (FCHD) is mentoring three undergraduate FCHD students in three separate research projects. In the Love, Limits, and Latitude parenting projects, students have coded, cleaned, and analyzed data, and written the literature review and results section of a forthcoming article. In the Native American Fatherhood study, students have written the IRB application and facilitated focus groups to determine what content to include for the parenting class. Lastly, as part of the Developing Community Based Marital Enrichment Programs, these same three students have developed curriculum for a Marital Enrichment Workshop, helped complete the IRB application, and developed the website that will host and evaluate this project. These students also host a weekly radio show with Dr. Law on KVEL- Vernal, designed to strengthen families in the Uintah Basin. Lastly, to complete the research experience, these students have participated in both local and national dissemination activities.
