Dr. Antje Graul sets a strong focus on the development of Undergraduate student excellence and research mentorship inside and outside the classroom. As a teacher, she strives to be a change agent for Undergraduate students by teaching crucial topics such as Sustainability Marketing and Digital Marketing, equipping students first-hand with skills to solve real-life problems in their future careers. As a research mentor, Graul secured multi-milliondollar research funding over five grants enabling her to involve Undergraduate students in interdisciplinary research on sustainable consumption. Under her mentorship, Undergraduate students actively learn academic processes, and independently work on conceptualization of research designs, survey development, data collection (qualitative and quantitative), data analysis and data presentation/ reporting in various formats and to diverse audiences (i.e., journal articles, posters, conference presentations, policy briefs, faculty presentations). Graul’s mentorship allows Undergraduate students to work within interdisciplinary research teams, learning from faculty and industry across regions and fields of study, including from USU, Purdue and the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Graul continuously publishes with her students. Highlights include 3 peer-reviewed journal publications and 30 conference presentations with students at peer-reviewed state and national conferences, representing the excellent student talent Utah State University produces.
