Nathan Pace

College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences

Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Sciences Department

Nathan Pace grew up in a small town near Cache Valley, Utah. He was raised an Aggie and couldn’t wait to become a student. Growing up in the country helped Nathan appreciate the outdoors and value hard work. Milking animals and helping his grandpa on the family dairy farm are cherished memories and helped establish Nathan's deep appreciation for agriculture, dairy in particular. This personal connection drives his work and research. Nathan has continued on a similar path by conducting dairy food research under Dr. Prateek Sharma in the research laboratories for the past three years. Outside of his research, he participates in numerous extracurricular activities with much of his time spent in serving as an Ambassador for the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences and as a member of the Food Science Club Council. When that work doesn’t fill his schedule, Nathan participates in research and product development competitions. After graduating in May 2024, Nathan plans to continue his education and, ultimately, enter the industry while his spouse finishes her doctorate program. Nathan hopes that the combination of education and industrial implementation will help him make a difference and improve people's lifestyles through food
