Colin Brady is a senior in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences in the Watershed Sciences Department and will be graduating in May 2015. He began working for the BLM/USU National Aquatic Monitoring Center (aka the BugLab) the summer of 2012. He was a field technician for the BugLab for three summers and worked in the lab during the school years 2012-2014. Last fall he began working for the Remote Sensing GIS Laboratory as a geospatial lab technician. After graduating Colin will continue working for the BugLab lab as part of the US Bureau of Land Management Assessment, Inventory and Monitoring program throughout the Eastern Interior and National Petroleum Reserve, Alaska. Colin’s research interests are in fisheries and aquatic ecology. He is particularly interested in how different land uses affect the biological, physical and chemical conditions of aquatic ecosystems. While in Fairbanks he will pursue a Master’s degree in Fisheries and Aquatic Ecology at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks.
