A self-taught computer programmer since the age of 12, Ivan has always been passionate about developing programs and systems that will greatly improve productivity and efficiency. He enjoys learning foreign concepts and venturing into the untested waters of software development, which was evident in his research work which heavily involved cryptography, linguistics, and realizing abstract ideas. His technical expertise are not just limited to software development, as he is also an Accounting major with a deep understanding of the financial backbone behind most businesses. His experience in software development and attention to detail stemming from his accounting background has led him to developing high quality and robust business information systems that are well documented during his internship with a local engineering firm.When he is not typing away in front of a computer, he can be found in the kitchen testing new recipes for oven-baked chicken, his best dish. He does not shy away from his Malaysian root sand enjoys serving Malaysian dishes to others. Thanks to his Malaysian background, he is natively fluent in English, Malay, Mandarin, and Cantonese. He also enjoys hiking, longboarding, and hammocking when the weather is nice and warm.
