Lillian Okamoto is highly motivated, talented, and genuinely curious; characteristics which have allowed her to become a remarkable undergraduate researcher. In a short time, she has progressed from observing research in the laboratory to conducting entire experiments on her own, presenting her research at conferences of both local and national scope, and preparing data for and writing peer-reviewed manuscripts.
