Melina Santos Vanderliner is an undergraduate researcher in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering since 2010. She is majoring in Environmental Engineering and hopes to graduate in the spring semester. She has been working under the supervision of Dr. David Rosenberg on mapping of water and vegetation cover at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, Utah for the past year. She is an excellent and enthusiastic researcher who has already presented her research work at two conferences in 2011. In addition, she has been helping organizing field tours for Dr. Rosenberg in his research and courses. She is originally from Dominican Republic and holds a scholarship from the Government of Dominican Republic.
