Apply for GRCO

Graduate Research and Creative Opportunity (GRCO) grants provide a $1,000 grant to support original research, scholarship, or creative work by USU graduate students with the guidance of a faculty member. Proposals include requests for funds to cover the costs of equipment, supplies, and project-related travel.

Eligibility

Full-time graduate students (as defined by the School of Graduate Studies Catalog) at Utah State University. This includes international students and non-US citizens.

Before You Apply

Before you apply, do you have the following documents ready to upload?

  • Project Timeline
  • Budget (using this template)
  • Curriculum Vita

In addition, make sure to confirm with your faculty mentor that they will provide us with a letter of support by October 18, 2022. We will be contacting your faculty mentor after the proposal is submitted; mentors may submit your letter via email to athena.dupont@usu.edu at any time prior to the deadline.

Incomplete GRCO proposals will not be reviewed and are not eligible for funding.

'The GRCO grant annual application cycle is currently closed. The next grant cycle for Spring 2023 funding opens on June 1 and closes at 11:59pm on June 15.
