Graduate Research and Creative Opportunities

What is a GRCO Grant?

Graduate Research and Creative Opportunity (GRCO) grants provide a $1,000 grant to support original research, scholarship, or creative work by USU graduate students with the guidance of a faculty member. Proposals include requests for funds to cover the costs of equipment, supplies and project-related travel.

In spring of 2016, the Student Involvement and Leadership Center partnered with the Office of Research to transform the existing Utah State University Student Association Research and Projects Award program to the Graduate Research and Creative Opportunities (GRCO) Grant Program. GRCO supports worthy independent student projects that advance a student’s professional development and contributes to the scientific community.

Interested students should review proposal requirements and evaluation criteria.
