About Kuali

Kuali originated in 2004 as a collaborative effort among universities to create community-driven, cost-effective administrative software. Initially focused on financial systems, Kuali expanded to other areas, including research administration. 

Kuali Research was developed to streamline proposal development, compliance, budgeting, and award management processes. The system supports System-to-System (S2S) submissions to platforms like Grants.gov and offers tools for managing the full research lifecycle
