The Great Salt Lake Charrette Process

This Research Landscapes featured a discussion about building stronger Utah communities, led by David Anderson, a professional practice professor at Utah State University in the Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning department.

Over the last few years, Anderson, alongside other USU faculty and students has led multiple "charrettes" (an intense period of unique community problem-solving and design) in communities around the state, which have led to the development of solutions to a variety of social, economic, and environmental challenges, including issues around the Great Salt Lake.

The event was held Thursday, June 15 from 12-1:30 p.m. at the O.C. Tanner headquarters in Salt Lake City, and included a 25-minute presentation, 30 minutes of live question-and-answer, and time to network with other attendees.
