Allison Roxburgh came to USU as an undergraduate and here she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Education and Master’s degree in Teacher Education and Leadership (TEAL). She is currently a Fellow pursuing her PhD in TEAL with an emphasis in Mathematics Education. She is also in the process of earning her second master’s degree in Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences. In her free time, spends time with her daughter and is expecting again in October. When she has free time, she enjoys hiking, being outdoors, listening to true crime podcasts, and reading murder mystery novels.

Under the guidance of her mentor Dr. Patricia Moyer-Packenham, Allison researches how diverse learners and english language learners and how they interact with digital math games as a method of supplemental instruction. She is also heavily engaged in preparing pre-service teachers for educational roles.
