Jason Grooms

Biography

Jason has spent most of his career in the energy industry helping commercial, institutional, and industrial customers cut operating costs, improve resilience, and get complex projects built. As Director of Energy Storage Design at Torus, Jason leads the project delivery and sales engineering teams that design and deliver commercial and industrial flywheel and battery energy storage systems.

Jason currently serves as the 2026 President of the Association of Energy Engineers, Utah Chapter.

Outside of work, Jason is spending time with his family and friends in the mountains.
