Irrigation Lab Equipment Manager

The Irrigation Lab is looking for a lab equipment manager for the Utah Water Laboratory until the end of the spring semester.

Dr. Alfonso Torres’s team conducts research using remote sensing data (drones) and ground measurements to quantify water use and stress across multiple states, and multiple graduate students participate in this research. He is looking for an undergraduate student interested in supporting the research work organizing research equipment, developing user guides for the equipment, and joining field data collection trips.

Dr. Torres is looking for students from the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, College of Engineering, or the College of Natural Resources. Applicants should have GIS knowledge experience or be willing to learn. Qualified candidates have a strong work ethic and an ability to work independently, and the ability to drive USU vehicles and participate in data collection missions.
