URCO Reviewing
The Undergraduate Research & Creative Opportunities grant has three application cycles. Each cycle, we ask faculty and senior graduate students to volunteer as reviewers for 3-5 applications in adjacent disciplines. Learn more about the Undergraduate Research & Creative Opportunities grant.
SRS Evaluating
The Student Research Symposium, held each April, is the showcase event for about 400 undergraduate and graduate students. We ask faculty to evaluate graduate and undergraduate presentations and provide feedback, and we encourage graduate students to review undergraduate work.
Fall SRS Evaluating
The Fall Student Research Symposium is a smaller, undergrad-only presentation event each December. It has been growing, and we ask faculty and especially encourage graduate students to provide feedback to participants (as it is a great preparation for their own presentations at SRS). Volunteer for the Symposium!
Mentor a Student
If you have a project and are looking for an undergraduate research assistant or volunteer, let us help you find someone to help. We can also assist you in creating a post on our Current Opportunities list.
Work Study Researchers
If you have the capacity to hire an undergrad, consider posting your job as a Federal Work Study position. You save funds and increase access to research.
UR Mentor Discussions
Discuss best practices, personal successes, and new ideas with our mentoring community! Our monthly sessions cover topics like cultural competency, aligning expectations, and mentoring philosophy! Find mentoring workshops.
Unpaid Research Internship Policy
