Undergraduate Research Mentoring Workshops
Our rotation of mentor workshops, brownbags, and seminars are offered every semester. Unless otherwise noted, they are open to all interested in the practice of mentoring undergraduates in research and creative works, including faculty, staff, graduate students, and senior undergraduate researchers in leadership roles within their lab/field/project.
It's challenging enough to manage our own time and the balance between the demands of research and the need to get the laundry done, feed ourselves (and often our families), and maybe even fit in a workout once in a while. How do we mentor students to be better managers of time and to balance their commitments responsibly? Bring your lunch and your thoughts on time management and how to teach it to this casual conversation with peers.
