College of Humanities and Social Sciences

A junior at Utah State University, Justine is studying Political Science and Economics. In between her schooling, she has volunteered teaching English in southern China and completed internships in Senator Orrin Hatch’s Washington D.C. office and for Utah Senate President Wayne Niederhauser. Justine is part of the Huntsman Scholars program in the Huntsman School of Business, which works to develop student excellence in academics, leadership, and service. As a USU Undergraduate Research Fellow, she has worked as a student researcher at Strata, a local think tank, for the past three years. She has presented research at Research on Capitol Hill in 2014 and the Utah Conference for Undergraduate Research in 2013. Justine also served on USU Honors Council in 2011-2012 and tutored elementary school students in French during the spring of 2013.
