Emily Weinand

Biography

Emily Weinand is the IRB and HRP Office Manager within the Human Research Protections Office. Originally from Boise, Idaho, she graduated from USU with a B.S. in technical communication and minors in business and data analytics. Prior to graduating, Emily was an administrative assistant for the Small Business Development Center, monitoring local businesses during their first five years to improve growth. She then worked as a teaching assistant in the Huntsman School of Business and further channeled her love of education towards research. During her final year of college, Emily worked with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Usability Lab with a focus on user research and design. Outside of work, Emily enjoys baking, reading novels, and enjoying the beautiful Logan scenery.
