| Initial Field Safety | The goal of this training is to give USU students an awareness-level understanding of how to remain safe on USU field sites. This is a self-paced online training. | Access online training |
| Hazard Awareness and Accident Prevention | The purpose of this training is to help the employee identify or recognize hazards that are present or anticipated. This training is self-paced and available online. |

| ATV Safety Training (hands-on) | This training has an online education (E-course) component followed by hands-on skills training (S-course). Individuals will learn basic techniques for riding ATVs responsibly in the field. Training will emphasize on safety implications in each lesson. Lessons include starting and stopping, quick turns, hill riding (U-turns and traversing), swerving, quick stops in a turn, and riding over obstacles. Training is conducted by the Field Safety Officer who is a licensed ATV Safety Institute (ASI) Instructor. | ATV Safety Training (online only) | This course offers a fundamental understanding of ATV operational controls and TREAD Lightly principles. This is an online training available on USU's Learning Managment System (LMS). | Access online training |
| Aerial Lift and Elevating Work Platforms | Safe operation of scissor lifts, lift trucks, elevated platforms, articulating booms, other aerial devices. This instructor-led course is intended for individuals who work on elevating platforms, in order to minimize risks of falling. This course is designed to comply with regulatory requirements. |

| Confined Space Entry | This course is intended for all personnel that may be required to work in confined spaces, in order to provide personnel with information about the hazards and hazard control methods that will permit safe work. |

| Fall Protection Awareness | This course is intended for employees who might be exposed to fall hazards, in order to provide them with the ability to recognize hazards and to be able to minimize them. The content in this course is designed to comply with regulatory requirements. Employees exposed to fall hazards that use fall protection equipment must contact EHS for appropriate training. |

| Forklift Safety | This course is offered as one option for completing the Forklift Safety Certification-Initial Training. This course constitutes forklift safety certification as required under Utah Regulations. |

| Respiratory Protection Training with Fit Testing | This course covers the basics of respirator selection, use and care. Each person taking the course will be fit tested for the respirator they will be using. |
