Training Registration

Lab Safety Initial Training has changed!

Lab Safety Initial now has two components; the first is a series of on-line training modules, second is an in-person final session.

Access the online Lab Safety Initial Training based on your employment status:

  • Employees (Including student employees): Once you have signed in to the USU Institutional Learning System (ILS) search "Lab Safety" in the search bar and enroll in the course. Lab Safety training can be found in the DPENVH - Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) section of the course cataglog.
  • Students (non-employees): Following completion of the online training modules, you will need to register for and attend a short (one hour) training and fire extinguisher practical experience.

Please make sure you have completed the online modules prior to attending the in-person portion of the training!

If you have issues related to accessing the online training, please contact Rachel Curry at rachel.curry@usu.edu or (435) 797-7423.

For other trainings, select the course for which you would like to register. You will not be registered for any courses other than the ones you click.
