NIH requires all funded graduate students and postdoc fellows to complete at least 8 hours of in-person RCR training, in addition to CITI training. To fulfill this requirement, the DRIC hosts a 1-day RCR Workshop held once per semester (Spring and Fall). The DRIC will contact anyone that is required to complete the RCR Workshop upon hire under an NIH grant, providing additional details regarding the date, time, and location for the upcoming workshop.
If the new hire has previously completed the required 8 hours of in-person training within the last 4 years, then they will NOT need to complete the workshop at USU.
